On 3 July 2023, Assistant Professor Pongkan Kongsee attended the opening ceremony of the Naresuan Agricultural Innovation Expo 2023 held under the theme ‘Sustainable Integrative Innovation Agriculture’ between 3 – 9 July 2023 at King Naresuan Exhibition and Convention Center. The ceremony was chaired by the Governor of Phitsanulok, Phusit Somjit with a welcoming remark from the President of the University, Associate Professor Dr Sarintip Tantanee, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Environment, Naresuan University. The Expo was aimed at developing a paradigm and promoting the integration of relevant knowledge, technological advancement, and agricultural innovation to farmers, entrepreneurs, relevant government officials. At the Expo, members of the Faculty of Law have presented 5 research projects as follows:
1. A Legal Approach for Promotion of Solar Cell Electricity Production for Households (PI: Assistant Professor Dr Chattaporn Harabut)
2. Problems and Approaches for Application of Water Justice Principles to the Thai Legal System for Sustainable Development (PIs: Dr Chatubhoom Bhoomiboonchoo, Dr Soontree Songserm, Acting Director of the Policy and Strategy Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee)
3. The Promotion of Banana Stalk Carving in Phitsanulok for Strengthening Economic and Social Values (PI: Assistant Professor Harirak Lopattananon)
4. Control Measures and Solutions for Illegal Dumping of Hazardous Industrial Waste from Recycling Factories in Thailand (PI: Dr Ashijya Otwong)
5. Problems related to Water Pollution Released from Industrial Factories in Thailand: A Comparative Study between US and Thai laws (PI: Assistant Professor Dr Narumol Sektheera)
